Members Only Ride Sunday, February 2nd at the James Gates Ranch

Weather permitting; MTDR’s January ride will be on James Gates private property located between Morgantown and Caneyville in KY about two hours from Nashville (see the below map for more details).
James has graciously invited us to come ride on his 10-mile loop. The loop is fairly tight and it takes a bike at a good clip about 45 minutes to complete a loop.

You will need to bring your own food and drink. If it’s muddy we will need to carpool as much as possible. The trails dry out fairly quick; however, his hay field parking area does not. There will be a short riders meeting at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. to go over a few rules and talk about the trail markings.

NOTE: The small motocross track is no longer available. We plan on setting up a early cutout on a portion of the main loop suitable for the novice kids and adult riders.

Important: This ride is for MTDR club members who have paid their 2002 membership dues.

This property is strictly off limits and no one is allowed to ride on the premises except by personal invitation. So, don’t even think about going there any other time other than designated rides. You will be jeopardizing future rides and possible your existence.
